About Hilary Delahunty
H. R. Delahunty, Solicitors opened for business in 2008 in Johnstown, Waterford.
It's principle solicitor; Hilary Delahunty qualified in 2007 having apprenticed with Lynch and Partners in Clonmel and Fahy McGeever in Dublin.
He has a Degree in Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from University College Dublin and has recently completed a Masters in Law in University College Cork. The title of his minor thesis was 'The nature of offences committed by heroin addicts'. He is presently preparing his proposal for a doctoral thesis on a related topic.
Having completed his apprenticeship he worked as an assistant solicitor with Kelly Colfer Son & Poyntz in New Ross before opening H. R. Delahunty, Solicitors in Johnstown, Waterford in 2008.
Since then he has developed a reputation as an effective and hardworking advocate and H. R. Delahunty, Solicitors has gone from strength to strength.
Although we concentrate primarily on personal injuries and criminal defence representation the office is a general practice and we welcome enquiries on all areas of the law.
As the firm’s principle solicitor, Hilary believes that clients want a candid and informed analysis with an enthusiastic and hardworking attitude. That has been his approach since starting out in business and it constitutes the core value of his practice.
